Greg Shed lives in San Diego, California. A self taught artist, he has illustrated numerous children’s books. His first book, “Casey Over There” painted in golden hues caught the attention of the Society of Illustrators and led to a variety of picture books.
Known for his ability to express the effects of light and capturing the spirit of his subjects in luminous colors, Greg has worked with world-class clients, including; Harcourt Inc., Harper Collins, Dial Books, Simon & Schuster, Scholastic press, Walker& Co., Northland Publishers, San Diego Zoo, Tennis Magazine, Monsanto, Lands End, Pepsi Cola and Rams Hill.
Greg currently enjoys painting the old west, native cultures and wildlife. His hobbies include hiking, music, and American history.
